Eid-al-Adha is a time of profound significance, a celebration of faith, sacrifice, and shared humanity. At My Development Organization, we believe the spirit of this special occasion should reach everyone, especially those facing hardship. This year, we were honored to carry out our Qurban (sacrifice) and distribute fresh meat to families in Gaza.

The tradition of Qurban during Eid-al-Adha is a powerful reminder of our duty to care for the less fortunate. For many families in Gaza, who have been displaced and are struggling with severe food insecurity, a significant portion of meat is a rare and precious gift. It’s not just a meal; it’s a moment of dignity and celebration, allowing them to partake in the joyous traditions of Eid like everyone else.
Our dedicated team and local partners worked tirelessly to ensure the Qurban meat was distributed efficiently and equitably to those most in need. We prioritized reaching displaced families in temporary shelters and communities where access to food is extremely limited. The gratitude we witnessed on the faces of parents and children as they received the meat was a humbling and inspiring reminder of the impact of your generosity.

This act of giving is a testament to the power of compassion and the universal values that connect us all. Thank you for making this possible. Your support helped bring a sense of celebration and relief to families in Gaza during this blessed time.
