At My Development Organization (MYDO), we believe in the power of unity, compassion, and collective action to bring hope where it’s needed most. Guided by our mission to empower youth and inspire change, we recently organized an Iftaar for our brothers and sisters in Gaza—a humble yet heartfelt effort to stand beside them in these difficult times.
Extending Hands of Care and Brotherhood
The people of Gaza have long endured unimaginable hardship, facing daily struggles for food, safety, and dignity. As Muslims, we recognize the spiritual and humanitarian importance of sharing Iftaar, especially during times of trial. Through this initiative, MYDO aimed to provide not just meals, but also a message of love, solidarity, and faith—that they are not forgotten.
Empowering Youth Through Service
This initiative was driven by the dedication and compassion of our youth volunteers, who came together with a shared vision: to serve humanity. From fundraising and planning to distribution, our volunteers demonstrated the values we seek to instill at MYDO—selflessness, responsibility, and purposeful leadership.

While one Iftaar cannot solve the challenges faced by Gazans, it represents something powerful: the reminder that small acts of kindness can ripple outward, bringing hope and light even in the darkest times.
